Lara took these pics during a pit-stop on our drive back to Portland from the coast (where we'd been for Thanksgiving). Owen needed a snack and a break from the car seat. Shortly after these pics were taken, we performed a harrowing but ultimately-successful mid-air diaper change.

Owen has been paying attention to the cats for awhile, but only just recently seems to have "noticed" the dog. Naturally, his response is to try to grab Jackson and put the dog in his mouth. (Nana makes a guest appearance in this video. Sorry for catching you in your nightgown, Nana...)

These are my friends Ben and Chris, with their kids Ayla (5 months) and Colin (2 weeks). Ben, Chris and I were each born within a span of 9 days, live within a couple miles of one another and (as you can see) each have a new baby.
