I took Owen to The Modern Man barber shop. Earl was kind enough to oblige.

Future soccer star (no question mark here!)

Owen & I went to the park this morning and happened to stumble upon a girls' soccer team (ages ~10yo).  Owen wanted to watch and I was amazed that he actually watched almost the entire game!  He asked the girls if it was OK for him to play with one of their spare balls and we had fun passing, trapping and learning to dribble.  Proud mom here :)

Future skateboarder?

Owen was absolutely obsessed with the learn-to-skateboard exhibit at OMSI's Makers Faire a few weeks ago.  I could only take a brief video, in between chasing after him to make sure he didn't break himself (he seemed bound & determined to do so, but managed to escape unscathed!).  For the past 6 months or so, he has been telling us he wants a dinosaur skateboard when he grows up...  Looks like he means it!
