Two Months Old

Owen celebrated his 2 month birthday by visiting the pediatrician for his well child check.  We've been taking bets on how much he weighs now: I went with 12 lbs, Paul with 13 lbs.  By The Price Is Right rules, I won but Daddy came closer.  Owen is now 12 lbs 12 oz!  He's living up to his new nickname Chubby Bubba.
This pediatrician visit also meant his first set of shots.  He got one in each thigh and one by mouth.  It was traumatic for all of us!

The Best Gift A Baby Can Give...

Last night Owen slept 6 hours straight. 'Nuff said.

Imitation Is The Sincerest Form Of Flattery

Owen's cousin Lily is a maestro of the tongue wag. (Click here to see footage for yourself.) Owen isn't quite on par with Lily yet, but he is certainly giving it his all!

Hand-Me-Downs

Owen is pictured here in an outfit his mom used to wear. No pressure, little guy!
For those of you who aren't related to Lara, you probably don't understand the wordplay involved in the blog's name. To this day, Lara's siblings sometimes refer to her as "Little Tiny Baby Sister Lara". They'll also improvise a bit, creating variations such as "Little Tiny Bossy Sister Lara" or "Little Tiny Baby Terror Lara". Thus, "Little Tiny Baby Davis Stewart" seemed like a good name before our little guy had a first name.

Pacifier

Owen's been enjoying his pacifier for the past few weeks. Some book or other told us not to start him until after 1 month. And the same book tells us we'll need to take it away at some point. But for now, it sure does settle him down some times!

Father's Day

The 3 of us travelled to Eugene to visit Grampa George and Gramanita for Father's Day this weekend.

Owen had his first Bjorn experience this week.  It's been very handy (Thanks for sharing Juliet!).  Auntie Sarah and I took him shopping on Hawthorne.  He's almost as big a fan of Imelda's shoe store as we are :)
